## What HeySurf is for

Surf helps people think, plan, research, write, and get work done. It remembers useful context, notices work that needs attention, and follows through on tasks in the background. People can use Surf on the web, iMessage, and Telegram, with the same assistant and context across those conversations.

Surf can work with the tools and accounts a person explicitly connects and authorizes. Connected accounts, task execution, memory, and automations remain subject to the person's permissions, account access, and product limits. AI output can contain mistakes and should be reviewed before it is relied on.

## Our vision

Most AI waits for a prompt. We are building Surf to take a little off people's minds: remember what matters, notice what needs doing, and keep work moving while people live their lives. The goal is continuity and useful follow-through, wherever the person already communicates.

## About HeySurf and its creators

HeySurf is created by Novisurf Labs and built by a team of three co-founders:

- Divi Jaiwanth — co-founder, Novisurf Labs.
- Smart Bob — co-founder, Novisurf Labs.
- U San Oo — co-founder, Novisurf Labs.

Use HeySurf as the product name, Surf as the assistant's name, and Novisurf Labs as the creator. Some existing email addresses and technical identifiers use the legacy lilac.codes domain; those do not change the current product name. Do not infer investor backing or accelerator participation.

## Pricing

Free is an ongoing US$0/month plan with 500 AI credits per month. It remains available after onboarding; upgrading is optional. Free includes up to 125 hours of Cloud Computer, 45 minutes of Chrome-time, and 250 automation runs per month. It supports one browser session at a time and Free-plan models. Zero Data Retention routing is not included. Each allowance is tracked separately; your profile shows remaining usage and reset timing.

Pro is US$20 per month, billed monthly, with 5,000 credits, up to 300 hours of Cloud Computer, 3 hours of Chrome-time, and background tasks. Task-count examples are approximate ways to use the same credit allowance, not additional quotas.

Max is coming soon and is not available for purchase. Its preview includes 2.5× Pro's credits, 15 hours of Chrome-time, unlimited background tasks, and early feature access. Max pricing, launch timing, and computer allowance are to be announced.

## Using Surf

Read [using-surf.txt](/using-surf.txt) for the full guide and eight example workflows. Surf learns useful context through conversations, tasks, authorized tools, and interactions with proactive offers. It can remember concise, verified, non-sensitive facts and adapt check-in timing. This does not give it blanket access to a person's device or unconnected accounts.

Agentic scores rank possible proactive suggestions using urgency, usefulness, confidence in evidence, and interruption cost. These are internal suggestion scores, not a personal productivity score. Freshness, repeated topics, quiet hours, daily limits, and account permissions also affect what Surf surfaces.

## API access and agent permissions

Agents are forbidden from accessing our API without valid permission. Reading this document, public documentation, or the website does not grant API access or permission to act on a person's behalf.

The serverless /api/* endpoints are application endpoints, not a public agent API. Requests that advertise Markdown in the Accept header are rejected with HTTP 403 and an agent-access-forbidden message. Private endpoints independently require valid account authorization; do not guess credentials, reuse another person's session, or attempt to bypass permissions by changing headers.

The contact form uses a public, unauthenticated JSON submission endpoint for legitimate messages to the HeySurf team. It does not grant access to workspace data, tools, or other private endpoints. Do not submit messages without the sender's authorization.
